Discovery of New Materials

At Xatoms, we use a unique combination of artificial intelligence and quantum chemistry to uncover new materials—called photocatalysts—that purify water using only light. Our approach helps solve one of the world's most pressing challenges: access to safe, clean water.

What's photocatalyst?

Photocatalyst

A photocatalyst is a material when exposes to light, it breaks down harmful substances like bacteria, viruses, pesticides, or pollutants in water.

Applications

Textile Manufacturing

Xatoms works with fashion brands, textile mills, dye houses, and circular fashion technology providers to treat high-COD/BOD, high-color wastewater from desizing, bleaching, and dyeing processes. Our photocatalytic materials degrade persistent organics that conventional treatment struggles with, helping mills reduce discharge risk, surcharges, and water reuse constraints.
